FROM ROSEWOOD TO RAVENSWOOD

Little is known about the new spin-off series, Ravenswood, but Pretty Little Liars fans are gearing up for it! Here’s what is known about the new show: “Ravenswood will center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA, which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for each of them”. It sounds intriguing, and you know anything that is a spin-off of the hit television show, Pretty Little Liars, has to be good, especially if it’s from the show’s executive producers Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty and Leslie Morgenstein. It is set to premiere this October, after the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode. How do you feel about this new show? Will you watch it? What is about to go down in Ravenswood? I BLEND RIGHT IN
I will admit that I have been an avid brush user for a long time now. They were the most convenient tool, but when it came down to it, there were too many kinds of brushes and I wasn’t sure which kind of brush did what, even with the help of celebrity makeup artists and Internet beauty gurus. I wanted something that would help me apply my liquid foundation and make my skin look flawless. That was when I was recommended to try the Beauty Blender. I was hesitant at first because I thought it would be some sort of scam, so I didn’t give in and buy it for a long time. Now that I own one (well, two), I will say that as far as foundation application goes, I will never go back to using a brush. First of all, it’s bright pink so automatically, the color draws you in. You also can never lose it. But it does more than that. I found that since using my Beauty Blender, my face has looked more airbrushed. I get compliments on my skin all the time. Also, by using a stippling technique, you don’t need as much product so therefore, you end up using less. It truly is a great product. I’m happy I gave in and bought it. Makeup artists have recommended it to me, and now I’m recommending it to you.

WIPES VS LOTIONS
For the longest time, I struggled with a consistent nighttime face routine. I wasn’t sure which products to use for my skin type or how much product to use, but if you wear makeup, the first and most important step is removing your makeup. This is the one step you must do daily, even if you’re too tired to do the rest. If you don’t remove your makeup, your pores won’t be able to breathe. Honestly, no one likes clogged pores because you’ll end up breaking out more. What I was always keen on trying were makeup removing wipes and makeup removing lotions, but I never knew which one would work better. After trying a few brands of each item, I decided that wipes worked a lot better. Here’s why: I found myself using a lot more product when I used a makeup removing lotion. I would use more product and I would use more cotton rounds (the flat version of a cotton ball) as opposed to just one wipe. I found that with one wipe, I was able to remove all of my makeup. I used each corner, wiping in a circular motion, folded it and used it again, then folded it again and all of my makeup had been removed. It worked a lot better for me. However, it may not be the case for you. Whichever product you decide to use, just make sure you remove your makeup every night. Your skin will thank you.
